Jessica: Dusky and sensual, Lorca’s Moon is inspired by the mythical, dramatic soul of Andalusia. The darkly enigmatic character of the fragrance evokes lyrical visions of violent beauty – the poetry of plaster walls, an iron bed, haunted eyes, impossibly beautiful hands stained with nicotine, a bitter mouth sweetened by brandy. Through an open window the moon sits high on a horse of quiet clouds, its light mingling with the intoxicating scent of jasmine creeping up the high green balconies from the walled garden below. Like the Cante Jondo, Lorca’s Moon is of cry of the soul, a ballad of a bitterness that is inseparable from joy, a song of dark instincts and undying passions rooted deep in the heart
